Buckskin refers to the unique golden hair coat colour of horses. The golden mane flowing elegantly in the wind symbolises the pure and delightful aroma released by the effervescent bubbles in beer.

With the idea of brewing great beer, King Car Group (makers of Kavalan Whisky), pursues the beer craftmanship of Bavarian "Reinheittsgebot". By only using malt, water, hopes and yeast as raw materials, Buckskin creates the rich and extraordinary taste of beer.

BUCKSKIN意指駿馬獨特的毛色，在其金色皮毛與黑色鬃毛相襯之下散發出優雅色澤。象徵一匹專注奔馳向前的馬，踏著千錘百鍊的馬蹄鐵出征，迎風飄揚的鬃毛所閃爍的金色光芒，如同啤酒中不斷流動的氣泡，釋放出純淨迷人的風味。

巴伐利亞純酒令REINHEITSGEBOT
西元1516 年巴伐利亞 王室為確保啤酒的高品質 頒布「純酒令」，規定 啤酒 製造只能使用大麥芽、啤酒花和水等原料 。
雖然20 世紀末已廢除，但德國大部分的啤酒廠到現在依然遵循著傳統釀造法，「巴伐利亞純酒令」讓德國數百年維持優良釀造傳統，也因此德國啤酒 成為純正啤酒的代名詞.
